The second floor has 5 of the bedrooms, two of these directly gulf front with the 2nd floor living/media room also on the south side in the middle. For guests with handicap needs, please call to discuss all aspects of accessibility and needs related to the house.Īll 10 of the bedrooms in the house have luxurious beds, a closet, a mirror, private baths, flat screen TVs, ceiling fans, reading lights at both sides of each bed, outlets for electronic devices at the bedside, and best of all: water views - the Gulf to the south, the Lagoon to the north, or a view of both! These beautiful rooms and baths will be enjoyed by all, the southmost of these being right off the main deck with a gorgeous view of the deck and beach from the bed. There are two handicap friendly bedroom/bathrooms on the main level, including wide doorways, roll-in showers, grab bars, compliant toilets, roll under sinks, and 5+ foot bathroom turnaround. ![]() When not listening to the waves, ceiling speakers allow music while enjoying the pool, a cocktail party/reception, sunbathing, or reading a book. Three large French doors open onto the largely covered main deck and it's incredible beach view, the dune walkover, the outdoor kitchen with luxury 48' gas grill, and the heated swimming pool with multiple light options for your event. ![]() Three dishwashers, a large trash can, and two sinks simplify cleanup even for large groups. One rectangular table for 10, two round tables for 5 or 6 each, and bar style seating for 5 or 6 allow 26 + to eat without even leaving the dining area. Hobbyist chefs will love the Wolf 8 burner gas range, 2 1/2 ovens, infinite refrigerator space, and freestanding commercial ice machine around the corner - along with the beach view even from the kitchen. The kitchen, dining area, and a buffet/hutch work together to provide meals for large groups efficiently. Large flat screen TV with surround sound, DVD/BluRay player, and Apple TV convert the living room to a media room for families, slide shows for receptions, and power point presentations for meeting groups. ![]() On the main level, there is an open floor plan for flow and seating according to the needs of the guests. Stairs from this area ascend to the main deck on the gulf side with it's swimming pool and outdoor kitchen. Event lighting, electricity, and stereo speakers that are provided for this level allow for open parties and receptions with or without live music. On the ground (parking) level, a large open area is under the house on the south side. A gorgeous dune walkover solidifies the connection of the house to the beach. The casually elegant design blends with the beach: natural hues, accents of blues and greens, and comfortable sofas and chairs inside and on the decks. Thanks to the design team, including a nationally renowned architect, it is a beautiful house, inside and out, with a local flavor: shaded veranda on the street side, 'haint' blue porch ceiling, oak flooring, Alabama marble in the powder rooms, and regional artwork. The spacious, 100 foot gulf front lot was chosen for its uncrowded location and panoramic view of the turquoise Gulf. It is in the most private area of Gulf Shores (with no condos within miles).
